Her own performances, "Comedian from a Crumbling Empire", for piano and voice, and "Siren’s Eye", a shared evening with jazz pianist Michiko Takatani, played to full houses at the Obie Award winning theater HERE, where she was Artist in Residence during the 2000-02 seasons. "The Memory Orchestra", for one vocalist and 7 actors, was supported by a residency at Vassar College through Voice and Vision theater and was presented by HERE. Other work received support through residencies at the famed artist’s colony, Yaddo; the Obie Award winning theater, Soho Think Tank, where her road musical "Western Unidad" was presented as part of the Ice Factory Festival in 2004; the Envision Lab through support from the Jerome Foundation; and at venues such as Dixon Place, PS 122, Danspace Project, and Merce Cunningham Studio. Also a poet, her work can be found in various journals alongside the likes of "Ice Storm" author, Rick Moody, and "The Hours" author, Michael Cunningham.
